This cake is one of my favorite cakes I have made so far. I added fondant confetti to the cake to give it more character.

Fondant Tastes Good???

I have read so many articles about how horrible fondant tastes. How so many people prefer buttercream and just do fondant for looks. I was curious and took the Wilton Class for Fondant. You can see my present cake in an earlier post. I thought it would taste bad, but we tried it anyway. It was wonderful. We had left over cake from a party and the fondant cake disappeared first. Even my hubby ate it, and he doesn't eat sweets.

For anyone out there afraid to try fondant, I would go for it. I use the Marshmallow Fondant I made at home and did not add any flavoring.

This is my own creation from my Wilton 3 class. This is made completely with fondant. The bow was super easy to make and I would definitely use it again on a cake. I had my doubts that my cake would turn out this cute, but am very pleased with the outcome.
